Free Online Pomodoro Timer

Alternate configurable focus sessions with short or long breaks using a browser-based Pomodoro timer. The defaults are 25 minutes of focus, a 5-minute short break, and a 15-minute long break.

  • Set the focus, short-break, and long-break durations.
  • Start, pause, or resume the current phase.
  • Select Next Mode when the phase is complete or when you want to switch manually.
  • Use Reset to restore the default durations and clear the session count.

Limitations to know

  • Phases do not switch or start automatically when the timer reaches zero; use Next Mode.

  • Durations and completed-session history are not saved across refreshes.
  • Background throttling and device sleep can delay visible browser timer updates.
  • The tool supports a focus routine but cannot guarantee productivity or attention outcomes.

Is the focus session fixed at 25 minutes?

No. Twenty-five minutes is the default, and you can change the focus duration before running the phase.

Can the break lengths be customized?

Yes. Short-break and long-break minutes have separate editable controls.

Does the next phase start automatically?

No. Select Next Mode to move from focus to a break or from a break back to focus.

Is a long break included?

Yes. When you advance from every fourth completed focus session, the next phase is Long Break.

Does it play sounds or send notifications?

No. Audio and browser notifications are not implemented in this timer.

Are completed sessions saved?

No. The session count lasts only in the current page session and clears on reset or refresh.
