What is Visual Layout mode?

Visual Layout mode renders pages as images inside the Word document. It can look closer, but the text may not be editable.

Can it convert scanned PDFs?

Not yet. Scanned PDFs need OCR, and OCR is not available in this browser-only version.

Why did my PDF fail to parse?

The PDF may be password-protected, corrupted, too large, or using features that the browser parser cannot read.
